Storehouse no.9 is seeking a qualified Interior Design professional to join the Design Services team in Franklin, TN. The company opened its doors in early 2019 and has quickly become a local destination for upscale furnishings, decorative items, gifts, and design services. Our store is experiencing increased demand, and is adding to the Design Services team.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years minimum experience in active interior design and project management.
  • Lives within a 20-30 mile radius of our retail store at 320 4th Avenue N, Franklin, TN.
  • Excellent with communication, both verbal and written.
  • Extremely personable and approachable in all interactions. Good listener. Takes good notes.
  • Very detail orientated and accurate in all tasks, quotes, presentations, and communications.
  • Demonstrates initiative in closing new business, growing the store’s design business, and is self-motivated.
  • Works well in a team format and is open to input and feedback from Senior Designer/Owner.
  • Computer literate; familiar with design management and floorplan layout software.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude. Develops strong relationships.
  • Represents Storehouse no.9 solely and is 100% affiliated with the store on all projects and hours, no exceptions.
  • Can lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work on design projects consistently, without unnecessary delay, for on-schedule completion.
  • Ability to organize, implement, and constantly improve operational processes related to Design Services.
  • Uses honesty and integrity in all matters, without exception.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers requesting a Consult Meeting for design services.
  • Acquire signed contract and deposit.
  • Gather and document customer’s preferences, budget, and project goals.
  • Accurately estimate project costs.
  • Be an expert on Storehouse no.9 product lines and offerings.
  • Research, source, and compile design elements to meet the expectations of the customer.
  • Present design options in a professional and attractive way that clearly represents the project plan.
  • Gain written approval from customers at every phase.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate invoices for design projects and purchased goods.
  • Receive payments and keep accurate records of amounts owed and collected.
  • Handle any customer complaints in a calm and professional manner to satisfaction.
  • Report anything unusual or any major incidents to management.

Storehouse no.9 is seeking a qualified professional to lead its retail operations in Franklin, TN. The company opened its doors in early 2019 and has quickly become a local destination for upscale furnishings, decorative items, and gifts. Our team is expanding into design project services and we are in need of a team member to take on much of the day to day retail duties for the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of retail sales experience in furniture/home interiors
  • Located in close proximity to our retail store on 4th Avenue N in Franklin.
  • Excellent with communication and interacts in a friendly, cheerful manner. Extremely personable and approachable.
  • Demonstrates initiative and jumps into new tasks daily, a self-starter.
  • Works independently without need for constant supervision.
  • Computer literate; familiar with Point of Sale (POS) systems – we use Shopify.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Detail orientated and accurate in all tasks.
  • Comfortable standing for long periods of time.
  • Can lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and some evenings for special events
  • Ability to organize and assist in implementing improved operational processes.
  • Uses honesty and integrity in all matters.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Promptly greet customers as they enter the store.
  • Become an expert on product lines and offerings to assist customers with questions, needs and purchases.
  • Recommend selections and help customers locate merchandise.
  • Able to assist, place and follow-up on all custom orders with vendors and customers.
  • Cross-sell and encourage beneficial product add-ons.
  • Operate and update the POS system, receive/process/balance cash, checks and credit card payments.
  • Complete each transaction in a quick and efficient manner.
  • Merchandise and restock shelves and store displays • Recommend merchandise orders and reorders to management.
  • Handle any customer complaints in a calm and professional manner to satisfaction.
  • Report anything unusual or any major incidents to management
  • Maintain an orderly and pleasing appearance throughout the sales floor.
  • Help create a positive environment in which to shop and buy.
  • Take direction from and report to the owner • Work as a team to achieve sales goals.
  • Perform any other task(s) assigned as needed

The company opened its doors in early 2019 and has quickly become a local destination for upscale furnishings, decorative items, and gifts. We are in need of a part-time delivery driver to manage our "white glove" delivery services.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Three (3) years of retail delivery experience in furniture/home interiors.
  • Located in close proximity to our retail store on 4th Avenue N in Franklin.
  • Excellent with communication and interacts in a friendly, cheerful manner. Extremely personable and professional.
  • Always on-time and dependable.
  • Works independently without need for constant supervision.
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude, both in-person and over the phone.
  • Can lift up to 100 lbs, and move heavy objects.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some Saturdays.
  • Cleanly, organized, and conscientious of homeowners property.
  • Uses honesty and integrity in all matters.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate delivery schedules with retail manager.
  • Become familiar with inventory and access to our warehouse.
  • Contact customers with a 30 min advanced notice of arrival.
  • Recruit labor assistance if necessary.
  • Carefully deliver, install, assemble, and re-inspect all delivered items to the customers satisfaction.
  • Report back to management the successful completion of deliveries, or need for further action.
  • Maintain a perfect driving record with no accidents.
